Yes, you read that right. I, Stefanie, Gained 2.8 pounds this week. How, well, Saturday I went on a binge. I was out with my mom, starved myself more than half the day and when it came time to eat, I ATE. And I mean ATTTTTTTTTE. I was disappointed. No doubt, I was. But what can I do but chalk it up to one bad weigh and start a new today. I trip out on WW members who take this way too seriously. I mean, yes weight loss is a SERIOUS problem. But come on...You need to remember, this is a JOURNEY, not some tough obstacle course. This journey, like life, is a roller-coaster. With twists, turns, and occasionally your gonna be turned upside down.
I am not gonna sit here and tell you I stayed positive when I stepped on that scale and saw my weight gain. Although I wasn't showing it, I was crying like a little baby. I felt as if someone threw the ball at me expecting me to make the shot and I dropped the ball. I even turned into a bitter Betty and took it out on those around me.
So what can I do differently. For starters, not give up on my 30 minute walks every other day. I did that this week. I usually take my dog Chloe out for a walk and I deprived her of her every other day walk. I had an excuse every time I tried. "It's hot!", "I'm tired!"...you name it, I said it. Though it comes down to I was being LAZY.
I kissed last week goodbye and now welcoming this week.
I had a bump! SO WHAT! It's not the end of the world.
Just look at the decisions you made last week and do things differently this week. Thats a huge reason why I like tracking so I can look back and see where I went wrong. Try not to eat out at all this week and see if that makes a difference. Plan ahead :)
One bad week but next week will be sooo much better love you!!!!
