Review: Chicstix Shaving Wand

 

I had the pleasure of receiving a couple Chicstix Shaving Wands to review. 

I was REALLY intrigued with this concept and these shaving wands when I first saw them, but even MORE intrigued with how they work and what kind of results would it give. So when I was given the opportunity of review Chicstix, I jumped on it! 

A HAIRY SITUATION

 

Yes, I will admit, I let my leg hair grow out especially for this! As you can see I was pretty hairy....

STEP 1: PREPPING THE LEG

 

The first direction is to moisten the leg with warm. I did, as shown. Warm water relaxes the hair follicles, making it easier to shave.

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?

It resembles that of a deodorant stick. It also smells WONDERFUL!

 STEP 2: APPLY

 

As directed, I gently glided Chicstix across my leg with broad, sweeping strokes. As you can see in the bottom picture, I glided it as much as I felt was a good lather.

SHAVING TIME!: STEP 3

 I shaved as usual.

DURING SHAVING

I knew it was working when I saw all the hair on the shaver and on the tub...

RESULTS

My hairy legs were NO LONGER hairy and my legs felt so soft!

OVER ALL:

I really LOVED this product. There are times when you already have your dress or shorts on, and you realize, "D'oh! I didn't shave my legs!" Chicstix was heaven sent in these cases and a shaving experience.

It left my legs REALLY soft. In fact softer than Nair or regular shaving creams. I literally feel like silk now.

They also have one for men, which I will be reviewing soon with a guest male.

* I highly recommend the scented though. They smelled WONDERFUL! I have pomegranate and Island Breeze and they smell like HEAVEN!
