SATURDAY'S WITH STEF: The Stray and Me

 

He followed me home from a walk with Chloe. My heart melted. He was so kind, warm, and just a really good dog. As Seacca took him, I cried. He was shivering and crying as they removed him from my arms. 

I balled once I got inside.

It was so weird to have another connection with a dog that is not my own. 

Then I thought about all the dogs that don't have homes and I cried even more. What a weirdo huh?

I think at some point we all feel this way. Scared and unloved.
Maybe that's why I connected with him. I have been there. Maybe I am there...

I know this sounds totally weird...me and this little guy---- but it really did strike a chord with me. He just wanted shelter and to be loved.

Maybe this was a sign for me...that there will always be people to help.

I hope his owner and him reunite.

    Aww, sweet. I wouldn't be surprised if you end up with a bunch of orphaned dogs one day.
