REVIEW: Nair Naturally Smooth Cucumber Melon Lotion

12:07 AM

I love Nair, but I was a little thrown off by the color of the bottle. Usually it's pink, but I realized this was a cucumber melon scent that is suppose to be more pleasant to smell and leave your skin a tad bit smoother. So I thought, what the heck.

You're probably thinking, "Stef, what is with the glove?" I personally, NEVER apply Nair without a glove. The Nair is strong and personally I don't wanna ruin my pretty little soft hands. So yes, I use a surgical glove to apply Nair.

Ahh yes, I was a tad bit hairy. Don't judge me! Shaving/Nairing my legs only happens at least once or twice a month.

The Application

To be honest, NOTHING was different about this NEW Nair except for the smell. Which was so much more pleasant than the original.

AFTER

Okay, Ill admit. After wiping it off after 4 minutes, my skin felt a tad bit more refreshed. Soft and refreshed at that

So whats the difference?

A tad bit more refreshing and definitely the smell!

I haven't tried this stuff in years because it's too strong for my skin but kudos for them having a new scent. That old one was unbearable!

I use the cocoa butter version (3 minutes and hair is gone!)but for my arms, not that they are so hairy, I just like to see my arms hairless. For my legs I prefer to shave it since I don't like to see hair there and wait to grow back.

que comica! LOL! Love the shots. Cucumber smells so refreshing on anything! Especially a cocktail!

I've tried Nair before but it is way too rough on my skin. It kind of gives me a rash. Plus it doesn't last long! My legs are hairy so twice a month of hair would not be enough lol.

I use veet, and I notice the results don't last that long, how long are your legs smooth after using Nair?

PS thanks for voting!!! Totally means a lot!

I agree with Dale. I'm glad you shared this without because I use the original nair and that smell is God-aweful. I really like cucumber melon and I'm about out of my bottle so I will definitely give this a try for sure!

Nair products don't really work for me.. it seems like I never get as smooth as I want to when using these sorts of creams.
