Ahoy me mateys! Its mask Monday and I am back with another mask from  Montagne Jeunesse & this time it's the Dead Sea Mud. I love anything that involves ingredients from the sea because it means its NATURAL!

WHAT'S IT SUPPOSE TO DO?

According to the website and the back of this cute little package, "Breathe life back into skin with intensely invigorating and revitalizing Dead Sea Minerals. We’ve harvested the oceans nutrient rich Seaweed and Kelp right from the source – A satisfying boost for thirsty skin and then some"

With moving my skin took a TOLL!

THE MASK

This mask smelled wonderful & still reminds me of "Silence of the Lambs" lol

MASK ON!

 

I put it on, it gave a "Cool" feeling, which always feel good for your skin.

AFTER

 

My skin felt AMAZING And it was GLOWING!!!

Again, the drying time wasn't as it said and that could be a problem if you don't have a whole hour to spend on "YOU TIME." But totally perfect for the times you are lounging around doing nothing and just want to pamper yourself!

MASK MONDAY: Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Clay Spa Face Mask

 

Ahoy me mateys! Its mask Monday and I am back with another mask from  Montagne Jeunesse & this time it's the Glacial Clay Spa Face Mask. You know how last time I got it Everywhere because I A) Didn't know it was a cloth mask and B) I was squeezing it out like it was a clay mask lol, well I perfected opening the packing this time! YAY! Shall we begin?

WHAT'S IT SUPPOSE TO DO?

According to the website and the back of this cute little package, "Give your skin the ride of its life and feel the natural rush of cooling Glacial Clay cleanse your pores to the core. Anti-oxidant rich Red Grape and Arctic Cloudberry juices from the glacial heights of Scandinavia work their magic to help maintain skins natural barrier."

My skin looks TERRIBLE! In fact, It was so oily from the hot weather L.A has been having that I was just not feeling pretty at all because of my skin. Yuck! I knew it needed some TLC.

THE MASK

 

I wasn't surprised this time, now that I knew what I was getting into. Lol. It smelled wonderful and like the previous mask, was made out of cloth with a cut out for the eyes, nose and mouth. Kinda of "Silence of the Lam" like but much more appealing, lol.

MASK ON!

 Without making a mess, it went on non-messy and actually COOLED my face once it was put on the skin. The weather was high 80's and I need that cool down. Felt so good going on my face that it was a breath of fresh air.

MASK OFF!

Last time I didn't let it harden, this time it hardened in 1 hour. Which, is not what the little cute packet said. It said 15-20 minutes, TI times it and it hardened past an hour. So you'll need to try these masks if you got an hour to lounge around and indulge in yourself.  Other than that, it came off easy and didn't hurt at all. 

AFTER

 My face felt so clean and pores whispered "Thank you!" My face felt so wonderfully new and refreshed! It did as it said it would and my pores and face were thankful, lol.

MASK MONDAY: Montagne Jeunesse Red Earth Clay Spa

It's been a while since I have did a mask and Montagne Jeunesse was so kind to send me a few of their new ones to review for you guys! Its a bit different then what you and I are used to...so I wont wait any longer! Shall we?

WHAT'S IT SUPPOSE TO DO?

According to the website and the back of this cute little package, "Prepare your skin for a truly incredible, fresh pulped and juiced, deep cleansing journey. We've infused Mediterranean Clay with suitably spicy Cinnamon and pulped Pomegrantes to protect. This juicy boost will captivate your skin and senses."

My skin NEEDED a mask. It was so oily, greasy and I had broke out HORRIBLY!

What does it look like & Application

 

I wasn't expecting a cloth like mask. When I took it out, all I got was watery mask and was puzzled. Until I cut open the package and saw it was a cloth mask. I have NEVER used one, so this was a bit excited! It felt like a wet towel going over my face and smelled amazing.

PEEL OFF!

 

This mask got hard as if it was a clay mask, if that makes any sense. It did take a tad bit longer than a regular clay mask to dry. I spent 30 minutes waiting for it to dry. It peeled off easily and didn't hurt like I had thought. Very easy to peel off and all I had to do was rinse off the residual.

AFTER

 

My face felt clean and really refreshed. I honestly felt like these masks do a wonderful job when it comes to taking care of your skin. Not to mention they smell AMAZING!

REVIEW: Montagne Jeunesse Hot Chocolate Self Heating Face Masque

 

I was sent a warming mask, to be honest, this was a first time I used a warming mask and was a tad bit scared. The Hot Chocolate Self Heating Face mask was a perfect "first timer" mask for me to try.

WHAT'S IT SUPPOSE TO DO?

You will be chocolate wasted, without the calories! Mediterranean Clay cleanses dirt and oils from deep within pores. Rich dark chocolate and orange oil leave skin feeling soft and refreshed.

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?

Just like chocolate syrup! No joke!

APPLIED

As soon as I put it on my face, I felt it warm up. I was a little surprised it warmed up so fast. It went on like chocolate syrup too...thick and creamy. I wanted to eat it. Smelled WONDERFUL...I was definitely in chocolate heaven!

THE VERDICT

Well, my pores did seem clean. REALLY CLEAN? No. But it did the job. I wish it would have made my skin feel a tad bit cleaner than it did.

REVIEW: Montagne Jeunesse Virgin Olive Deep Cleansing Face Masque

 

Hello! I am back with another Mask! Montagne Jeunesse Virgin Olive! I was excited to review this only because I love me some olives! Lets get into it!

WHAT'S IT SUPPOSE TO DO?

The mask is suppose to leave you skin "Supple" and soft, all while leaving your skin feeling super smooth and deeply cleansed.

My face totally was in need of a mask and a cleanse!

LETS APPLY!

I don't know if it was just MY packet but the mask didn't have ask much mask in the packet as it normally would. Kinda like they were being frugal with it. Nonetheless, it was enough to cover my face and then some.

HARDENED

During the drying process I kinda felt it pulsate. I know sounds weird but I took it as an indication it was working. BUT....

RINSED AND AFTER

I was having an allergic reaction to it! YIKES! My face burned and I really wanted to dip my face into a cold bucket of water. After 40 minutes the redness went away and it left my skin clean. 

OVERALL

Rating : 3 out of  5

I don't think I'll be using this again. Not meant for my sensitive skin but probably for yours if your skin can tolerate the harshness.

REVIEW: Montagne Jeunesse Very Berry Face Masque

 

Montagne Jeunesse sent me over a mask called "Very Berry!" I must say, I wasn't impressed with it AT FIRST, but then as the minutes went on, I grew to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this mask!

WHAT IT'S SUPPOSE TO DO?

According to the website, "Bursting with the juice of pressed Blueberries and crushed Cranberries our fruity beauty is packed with antioxidants. Nourishing Peach Kernel oil and soothing Aloe will leave your skin refreshed and cleansed"

BEFORE

 

My skin was really "blah" It felt dirty, and since I had not done a mask in a week, it really did feel like my face needed a good "cleanse"

APPLICATION

This mask felt like whip cream. Seriously and smelled DELICIOUS! It went on smooth and really with ease. It burned my face in the beginning. This is where I wasn't not impressed. I do have sensitive skin, so I was turned off. But the little burning sensation went away within 5 minutes

DRIED & READY FOR TAKE OFF

It doesn't harden like some of the masks I have reviewed. It got "dried" but not so much hardened. I left it on for a good 15 minutes before I rinsed it off. When I rinsed it off, it came off easy as 1,2,3

AFTER

MY FACE WAS SO SILKY, SOFT AND CLEAN! It has been my favorite mask from this line. My skin LITERALLY feels like silk. Its so clean that when I went to clean it with astringent, there was NO dirt. My face felt fresh, renewed, and cleansed, just as the website said it would.

REVIEW: Montagne Jeunesse Iced Crystal Face Masque

 

I just LOVE Montagne Jeunesse! They sent me a few more mask to review,...Yay! This time I bring you Iced Crystal Face Masque!Which is a spearmint smelling scrub!

WHATS IT SUPPOSE TO DO?

According to their website, It is suppose to, "Wake up your skin and senses with our Iced Crystal Masque! Spearmint and cooling menthol cleanse and tone your skin while exfoliating Dead Sea crystals gently refresh and renew your skin"

My skin looked really dull and oily. As you can see on the right, my pores were HIDEOUS! Yikes! Clogged to the max and my face felt so dirty!

APPLICATION!

As I said, it was a scrub and smelled very minty. It was very easy to apply, considering it wasn't a clay mask but rather that of a scrub/gel like.

As you can see this scrub mask did not harden like their other masks...

REMOVAL

When I was rinsing it off, it almost felt like soap. Very soapy like when it is removed.

AFTER

My skin felt very clean, very unclogged and not dirty. Clearly you can tell a MAJOR difference on the right side of the picture.
