I have curly hair and during summer, the LAST thing I want to do is spend one hour or more straightening my locks. Typically I part my hair and twists the sides back and gather the rest in the bun. However, I was getting tired of that look and was wondering, "How can I spruce up my bun without having it take more than 5 minutes?" At first I was really hooked on setting a stand of hair aside, braiding it, and then tying it around my bun. But seriously, I wanna be able to throw my hair in a bun in less than one minute and have it looked as if I took the time and effort into it.
Then the light bulb went off. I can get a hair piece extension! I searched high and low for the perfect one. I then thought, "Sally's! Duh!" and I went in. Sure enough, there was this pretty Dancing with the Stars hair collection. And then I spotted the Bellissima Braided Headband. I paid $10 for it and the quality is amazing!
So what does it look like on my bun?
I thought it was a great way to make your bun look fun and flirty yet keep the time limit down to a minute or two.
