MASK MONDAY: Freeman Beauty Cucumber Facial Peel-Off Mask

 

I had been crying all day, so please forive me if I look like trash. So this week, its, Freeman Beauty's Cucumber Facial Peel-Off Mask. Which I felt was MUCH needed today, with all the crying I had done.

WHAT'S IT SUPPOSE TO DO?

According to the website and the back of this cute little package, "A super-cooling, skin-quenching mask that gently peels away impurities that can cause skin to be rough and dull. Contains Cucumber Extract and Aloe to soothe while moisturizing, ensuring skin feels soft and silky-smooth after every use. "

BEFORE

 

As I said, I was crying and my eyes and face looked puffy. It felt to dirty too, not to mention TENSE.

What does it look like

 

Looks like gel and is VERY thick.

Application

 

It went on VERY gooey and was kind of hard to apply because it was so thick and sticky. It feels UBER thick on your face too.

DRIED AND PEEL!

It came off SUPER easy.  When I say, easy, I mean EASY!

AFTER

My face felt LESS tense and I THINK, Looks better lol. It felt rejuvenated and I didn't feel puffy at all.

Another mask! I was in Walmart (as usual) and decided to pick up Freeman's Acai Facial Purifying Clay mask!

Shall we begin?

WHAT IS THIS MASK ?

According to the package: quick fix for dulling skin, powered by an 8-antioxidant blend of Acai, Goji, Mango, Mangosteen, Cranberry, Noni, and Blueberry to neutralize environmental damage. Super oil-absorbent clays draw impurities from skin and clean out clogged pores. Perfect for all skin types.

My skin was really oily and felt REALLY dirty...

LETS APPLY

This smelled so much like a Berry smoothie it was making me hungry! However, it did sting my eyes. I never had that happen to me, it was a first. But honestly, from all the facial masks I have reviewed, this usually meant its really working. I couldn't really tell obviously until I was done with the process.

Don't I look sexy? Just kidding!....or am I? lol

HARDEN AND WIPE OFF!

This mask took about 30 minutes to dry. A tad bit longer than most, however, this why you need to do a mask when you are RELAXING around the house or taking a nice long bath :) 

Getting the mask off was a tad bit harder and that is because it is CLAY! Clay is always thicker (duh Stef!)

AFTER

 

My face felt REALLY try after. I'm talking about it was TOO dry and I had to put moisturizer on right away. Also the stinging in my eyes did not go away for sometime. Although it does what it says, I dont think Ill b using this mask again...

I got this at Walmart because I was in DIRE need of a facial mask!

WHAT'S IN SUPPOSE TO DO?

This lemon clay mask is suppose to help soothe skin and reduce inflammation caused by breakouts. It is also suppose to help control oil production and reduce the appearance of large pores.

My face was HORRIBLY oily and my pores were SO visible!

THE CLAY & APPLICATION

The clay smelled SOOOO good. Lemon and mint! When I first applied it, it kind of tingled but then went away. It went on smooth and didn't leave any mess!

APPLIED!

I loved the smell! I think I said this before lol

GET HARD & COME OFF!

Came off REALLY easy! 

AFTER!

I noticed my skin was not oily and my pores were smaller!

SO! Apparently MY picture of the mask got lost and deleted. HMPH! Anyways! I had heard such RAVE reviews about  Freeman Clay Mask Avocado & Oatmeal,  that I bought a SAMPLE one at Walmart for 99 cents.

WHAT IT'S SUPPOSE TO DO?

Suppose to purge pores and draw out excess oil and dirt.

APPLICATION:

I really don't know how to describe the feel of this mask, it almost felt like whipped cream , but clay, if that makes ANY sense? Smelled delicious too! However it didn't say if I had to wet my face before or apply it dry. I applied it dry.

LET IT DRY BABY!

 

Totally cracked myself up when I saw how it dried and made a frown. It didn't say how long it would dry, but took about 15 minutes.

WASH IT OFF!

 Super easy to remove!

What I liked?

It made my face feel clan, but dried it out BADLY! I guess that's good for acne and pimples.

What I disliked?

The whole application process was confusing. Do I apply it wet? dry? Very confusing. I would obviously want the way that leads me to the best results. Maybe one of you know how to apply Freeman

So how would I rate it?

Only because I dont know how to properly apply because they do not give the proper way!

According to the website, it is suppose help tone skin and diminish the appearance of large pores as well as nourishing and moisturizing the skin.

WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE?

Chocolate and Strawberries galore! Smells so good I wanted to eat it. My mom even asked, "Is it edible?" Smells AMAZING!!

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?

Don't run! I know I look hideous! My skin is having a major bad day! and I am sick...Give me some credit! However, my face and skin look totally NOT fresh at all!

The clay mask went on so smooth. Did I mention it smells WONDERFUL? I did though, have a problem, it does not state whether the masks should be applied on a dry or wet face. I was confused and got different responses from people. So I applied it wet.

HARDEN ME UP!

The bottle didn't say how long to leave it on for...so like MOST masks, I left it on for 10 minutes.

I found this to be a CON. I would like to know what its an appropriate time length. So, this is what it looks hard...

I was a tad bit red. Not gonna front. I think it irritated my skin, again, this is why time is important for most. To top it off I have sensitive skin...so it could have been one or the other. However, the redness didn't last long. My kin felt refreshed and it felt clean. Left my skin a tad bit dry but nothing facial lotion can't cure!
