Weekly Weigh-In: I didn't weigh in....Here's why

12:11 AM

Go ahead and have a heart attack...I did. So I ate this Saturday. It was soooooooooooooooooooooooo good. Especially since I haven't had a burger since February. I'm taking about a greasy, on the grill, all beef burger...none of that Turkey and Veggie stuff. I just totally didn't feel comfortable weighing in. But I sure did enjoy myself! Parts of HATE THE FACT, that I have to weigh in. After last weeks mishap with the lady who weighed me in, I was A) Still trying to get my Weight Watchers Mentality back together and B) I am also PMS'ing...so I know there is a ton of water weight on me.

So what is this you may ask? An INFAMOUS L.A burger joint in Los Angeles called "Hamburger Habit" It had been all over the news and even though it wasn't THE BEST burger....it was GOOOODDD! So if you are in the L.A area and want a "Been there, done that experience" I suggest this place. Also, the bathroom has such hilarious signs. I posted them so you can take a look.

Sunday was a family filled day and that Weight watchers didn't go so well...and although I thought, "You shouldn't have" at least I got it out of my system. I can only cheat once in a BLUE Moon and and when Is say Cheat I mean CHHHHHHHEAAATT! I had all sorts of goodies that I hadn't had in over a year. DELICIOUS!

So yes, parts of me feel bad but other parts are Okay with it. Its not like I gained 19181818 pounds or even one for that matter...Go figure! Plus I am PMS'ing so it tasted even better. Also, like in a past post cheating on a diet, or in my case can help JUMP START the diet. So its in the past now. I did it, I conquered it...

So yes, That's that...a NEW week for me. I think after eating that burger it has helped me get back into Weight Watcher Mentality.
Cheers to a new week!

It's okay to enjoy the foods you like once in a while, otherwise you'll feel like you are not "living" or enjoying life.

Today is a fresh new day!

I think it's great that you cheated lol. You should never deprive yourself of the things you like...if they're unhealthy that just means you should eat them less or only eat them every once in a while. I'm glad you don't completely feel guilty about it and that you're seeing this as a refresher to kick start your diet again. It feels good to live a little, right?

Haha! And the signs are just too funny. :)

Glad to hear about another burger joint coming out of Cali, other than "In and Out Burger," which I'm so tired of hearing about!!! Someday, I will get to burger habit and yes, I will eat a full-ton greasy, grilled BEEF burger. YUMMMMM!
Must be on the same PMS schedule, friend. I've been eating everything but the house and I'm feeling it, too. I just can't seem to feel satisfied after eating...there seems to be room for more and more. I hate that feeling. I've even taken to eating some meat, and that seems to do the trick. I don't know how real vegans do it, I don't. I'm just a wanna-be vegan...and I struggle. Nothing satisfies like meat, sorry! :) If not, I just end up eating a ton of carbs. Boo! Let's make a deal that next week we'll get back on the horse and eat our veggies and fruits. xoxoxo Love you!

Everyone needs a cheat day. I once read an article on Janet Jackson and she talked about times when she really buckles down with her fitness routine before concerts and such. She said that she has a one day a week cheat day. On this day she can have all the bad stuff she wants like french fries, ice cream, hamburgers, etc. She said her trainer told her this was healthy so that she doesn't go on a binge that could last for weeks!! I think its a great idea. You crack me up...when I cheat...I cheeeeaaaaaaaattttttttt!! lol That reminds me of a comedian that talked about us ethnic folks taking breaks at work. He said the white folks take exactly 15 minute breaks like they are supposed to but when we (ethnic folks)break we brrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!! LOL no offense to anyone...I just thought it was so funny and somewhat true!! lol

Stumbled upon your blog and had to comment.
Usually people who don't give in to a cheat day fall completely off their diet wagon so its absolutely healthy that you did that or it would have driven you bonkers lol. Btw, great blog!

Hope you're week goes well!
