REVIEW & RECIPE! : Keebler Pie Maker & Mini Taco Salads

12:00 AM

I just had to buy this when I saw it on the Clearance shelf at CVS! This little pie maker is THEE CUTEST! and you just don't have to make pie with it! In fact today I am bringing you a recipe for small won-ton mini taco salads!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

-Won Ton Wrappers (sold in the Asian aisle of your local grocery store)
-Ground beef
-Refried beans
-And of course any extras you want. I used avocado, lettuce, tomato, and salsa

STEP 1:

-Start cooking the ground beef and refried beans in separate pans.
-Start chopping any extras you may want (i.e: lettuce , tomatoes, avocado, etc)

STEP 2

I understand that not EVERY one is gonna have a pie maker, but kitchen stores sell something similar.

with the Keebler pie maker, you simply place the Won Ton in as done so:

Once baked, you get this! :

STEP 3

Fill the won ton shell with the refried beans, then meat, then add your extras.

I had 5 and in Weight Watcher Points came out to 10pp for EVERYTHING

Maybe you can switch it up! But the Won Ton Wrappers where so low in calories, LESS than a TORTILLA! and it was something different!

We all LOVE different when it comes to switching up our foods right?

ENJOY!

WEIGHT WATCHER RECIPE: Spaghetti Shells!

12:00 AM

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

-Jumbo Shells (1 Shell= 1 points, I had 5)
-Spaghetti Sauce (1/2 cup = 2 points plus)
-Lean Turkey Meat (3 ounces= 3 points plus )
-Mozzarella Cheese
(not pictured because I forgot, but for 1/4 cup= 2 points plus)

STEP ONE

Separately cook the meat, shells, sauce and well the cheese you do not have to cook.

This is the Shell just in case you were wondering how big of a shell I used

STEP TWO

Once the shells are cooked and cooled down, Stuff the shell with the meat and sauce. I used 3 ounces of meat, 1/2 cup of Spaghetti sauce, and 1/4 cup of cheese for all 5.

This is how your stuffed shell should look up close.

STEP THREE

Put your shells in the oven for 5 minutes to warm up and melt the cheese...

and Whoa-La!

Add a salad in there and you got a filling and oh so tasty meal!

TOTAL POINTS PLUS=  12 pp

Those who aren't doing weight watchers, this is NOT any different from a regular meal. Just us Weight Watcher folks have to count points :)

A filling meal! Yummy!!!
