WEIGHT WATCHERS WEEKLY WEIGH-IN: 51.4 POUNDS LOST!!!

 

I have OFFICIALLY lost 51.4 pounds!

How exciting and amazing! I am so proud of myself and guess what!

My mom lost 75 pounds THUS far!

Our journey isn't over and I am still on the verge to get to a weight I am comfortable.

 

Again, the "Goal Weight" on my app is set in 5 pound increments to make ACHIEVABLE goals so I don't feel discouraged when I see a number that is beyond 10. I know you all can feel when you think about numbers and say "That is a LONG way."

 

Losing weight is a mental game too...all in your head and this is one of the ways I can calm that little voice in my head. Increments. I was thinking 140 for a goal weight. Still not sure though.

 

I even got this charm to add to my collection! These little awards remind of how amazing I am doing! Of how much dedication I have put into ME! And lemme tell you, it takes a lot of self-love, self-discipline and self-respect.

Losing weight is achievable if you do it FOR YOU and no one else! I am living proof!

Luxe Anti Aging Eye shadow Trios

 

They have six beautiful eyeshadow trios and the one I was sent was called "Pretty in Plum" I am a HUGE fan of plum to begin with so when I got this trio I was excited.

Not only does this shadow lasts all day but it has Green Tea extract that helps to target puffiness on your upper eye, hydrolyzed collagen to plump lines, anti-oxidant to ward off free radicals, Acai that provides ultimate anti-aging benefits, Its paraben-free, talc-free, fragrance-free and Oil-free. Its non-comedogenic and hypo-allergenic.

These are all three colors combined. They look light at first but wait until you see the finished eye product!

 They sent me the eyeliner in plum as well (as you can see a reoccurring theme of plum obviously which again I am stoked because I love plum!) Anyways, back to my review! This eyeliner went on smooth and stayed all day. Also it did not smear at all! And lemme tell you, I had a bad day and was wiping my eyes...not once did it come off! So here it is with my eyeshadow....

NAILS OF THE WEEK: Time for a Mani & Pedi!

 

Friday was pay day and I treated myself to a mani and pedi...my poor little nails and toes needed it! I dont know the exact color, all I know is that its by Essie and I LOVE IT! I may have to go back to the nail salon and ask!

SATURDAYS WITH STEF: Like Water For My Soul

This week I had incriminating evidence that would make the recent guy see "the light" but when asked, "Are you gonna show him?" I thought about it, "No...its not worth it anymore." I would NEVER hurt someone who has hurt me for retaliation. Boggled, this person looked at me like I was crazy.

But what they dont know is that I am tired. I have NEVER in my life stooped low and never will and life is only gonna prove that truth is on my side. I gave them my one simple phrase, "Its not worth it." And lately I have learned what battles I am fighting and which ones I am simply saying, "Not worth it" too. I think this was my "lesson learned" for the month of August.

You will always have to choose which battles to fight and which ones arent simply worth it. This lesson lead me to texting my Hank Moody to NEVER contact me again. This lesson has lead me to saying, "It was nice meeting you but never again" to someone who brought nothing but negative energy into my life.

I have been through many battles. Lost a few, won a few...and before this revelation, I fought EVERY battle. That was the firecracker in me. Ha! This is growing up huh? *Pats myself on the back*

I think working on me has been the best thing EVER. Open eyes, open mind, open arms and an open heart. Working on me truly is like water for my soul....

And I'm thirsty....
