Saturday's With Stef: TEAM THUNDER THIGHS!

12:00 AM

My thighs rub together.

Always have and most likely always will.

Losing weight doesn't mean my curves are disintegrating.

In fact, my curves are going no where!

This past week, I have ran into girl bullying. In fact, if you go back to yesterday you will see how I WAS BULLIED. But this, this other woman was picking on another woman's weight. The word "FAT" spewed out her mouth. This was a woman who CONSTANTLY went around saying, "I'm the sh#t!" -Blank stare- What came out her mouth is nothing but that. I deleted her from every social media outlet.

I don't tolerate that kind of negativity in my life. Cant and wont.

My beautiful creamy thunder thighs ( that do have cellulite on them too mind you) rub together. I still have rolls. I still have stretch marks. SO WHAT!

My thighs are apart of me. They clap when I run (my own personal cheerleaders) and they even out my body. They are mine. If they are fat to someone else, they are perfect to someone else.

Loving my thighs, my curves, have not always been this way. I remember being in high school and being teased about having big hips and thighs. Now I see, what I was ashamed of back then, I should have praised.

TEAM THUNDER THIGHS.

A team I am proud to be on. It makes me ME. It makes me who I am. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Weight Watcher's Weekly Weigh-In : - 2.6 pounds down

12:00 AM

This makes my weight-loss a total of 41.4 pounds!

Go me!!

This means I weigh LESS than I did in High school!

WHOA!

And to make this EXTRA special, I decided to bust out my prom dress to see if I can fit in it again...

I DID! It even was big on me!!! Do you see the difference?
Getting back in that dress brought back a lot of memories of my ex. On prom night, he broke up with me as soon as we got there, on the dance floor, to No Doubts "Don't Speak". I felt so beautiful back then and I remember keeping my composure, while all my friends wanted to kick his behind!

But it also made me feel so proud of myself and inspired me to keep going.

So I tried on my winter formal outfit, which took place just a few months before prom...

and guess what!

IT FIT!!

Do you see a difference here too?

These dresses are beautiful and I am so happy I have not thrown em away.

Who knows! Maybe Ill go to an adult prom, or a formal, or maybe be a princess for a day and go to a ball!

I was so proud of myself and thought, "Stef, keep going, you feel great, you look great...."

So I lowered my MINI-GOAL. 175. Five pounds, think I can do it before June? We'll see!

Until then

CHEERS to HEALTH!

If you cant take care of you, how in the world can you expect to take care of someone else?

Love yourself and the world will love you back!

Weekly Weigh-In: 0.2 Ounces LOST!

10:30 AM

I lost 2 ounces ---OUNCES IS BETTER THAN NOTHING!

I was PMSing last week and did go over my points, even my allowance points. -shrugs-
Mother nature wants wheat mother nature wants.

As long as I am losing I am cool. Whether it be ounces or pounds, losing is ALWAYS good.

BUT, yes there is a BUT if I gain, I know I can always start fresh.

I wish I had known back in the day what I know now...

In high school, I was a size 12 and to society and peers, that was FAT.

There was a girl who thought she was thinner than me but really wasn't, who once posted a picture of my Sadie's Hawkins date (who just so happened to be her crush and obsession) and mines picture all over the school with the word "Fat" written all over me. I also had a certain family member who I went to high school with call me "Fat"  behind my back.

I WAS BULLIED.

Even though the girl is HUGE now and lives  a pretty sad life and that family member ended up living a hard and bad life, I cant help but to feel sorry for them or anyone who finds the need to pick on someones weight. For they are sad people and picking on others makes them feel better.

I was NO beauty Queen in High School....but hell, I think I was beautiful!

Only if I had excepted my curves sooner in my life would I have spared me all the Self-hate I had for myself.

So, if you are a younger woman or a woman who is simply getting picked on because of their weight, I say this to you....:::

Weight doesn't define who you are! The scale does not determine if you are beautiful. YOU HAVE CURVES. You have meat on you....OWN IT!! People all over the world pay to look more voluptuous! Pay to have curves! Pay to have some meat on them!

OWN THAT MEAT ON YA!

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! SO WALK AROUND LIKE YOU GOT A CROWN ON YOUR HEAD ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! LOVE YOU AND THE WORLD WILL LOVE YOU BACK 10 FOLD!

Weekly Weigh-In: 2 Pounds Down

12:04 AM

*GO ME!*

So with that said I am 7 pounds from my mini-goal 190!

I CAN DO THIS!

I'm my meeting we talked about normalcy. Remember the post I made about wanting to be normal like my thin friends? How I just wanna not be able to count points? Well, with your feedback, and emails, I realized....THERE IS NO NORMAL! Thin people struggle with weight too. Thin people eat unhealthy
too. Now would I trade my curves in for being thin? Honestly, NO. I wish I was thinner...yes, but I think God blessed me with curves for a reason.

Sometimes we forget that everyone struggles with their weight, their looks.

NO ONE IS NORMAL...

Hell, even Eva Longoria gets put up with! The most beautiful people can have the biggest insecurities.I went home and thought about normalcy. I have NEVER known normalcy. Nothing about me is normal. I eat on all occasions and all moods! Happy, sad, mad, ....you name the mood, food cured it. My addiction is food.

Granted that has changed and I am thankful for Weight Watchers for teaching how to handle my food cravings when I do want food, sometimes I sit back and think...sure counting points isn't normal to society. HELL! Being over a size 12 isn't normal to society! Then again, neither is starving yourself. Grazing. Everyone struggles with weight, if not now, later.

I was teased in High School because I was a size 12. In fact I know a certainly family member who went behind my back and told people just how fat I was. It comes from all directions with me. For once, I am at a point where, I count my points and I do my thing, if you cant respect that and know this is my kind of normal then I suggest you get off my train and get on your own track. TOOT TOOT!

I know some days I have the "I am so fat " days...but all in all...I am getting healthy for me. Some day I plan to meet a wonderful man and get in this beautiful wedding dress and walk down the aisle and have everyone gasp because I look so amazingly beautiful. I plan to have kids and run around with them and teach them about portions and healthy alternatives. I wanna be HANDS ON with my future kids. If that makes any sense.

So yes...what is Normal to you?

Is there such a thing as normalcy when it comes to weight?

Lemme leave you with a quote I put on my Facebook last week, I said this after I found out the thin woman who was picking on my weight made these horrible about my weight.

Skinny doesn't mean beautiful. Fat doesn't mean ugly. Skinny doesn't mean healthy and Fat doesn't mean unhealthy. What matters is you love yourself for who you are no matter what your body shape is. When you love yourself, people love you...the world will love you back.

VLOG: Weight Bullies!

12:07 AM

I want to address this. This past week I was a victim of 3 people picking on my weight. ONE girl in particular struck a nerve. This VLOG is for us thicker women who are told we aren't beautiful. This VLOG is for the women who aren't thick and get picked. This VLOG is for ANYONE who has EVER picked on someones weight to make themselves feel better! This VLOG is about Weight bullying and I am a victim who stood up and taking a stance.
